Kids kicking cancer



The inaugural Prusty 4 Kids Charity Golf Tournament will be raising funds to bring a brand new program to Children's Hospital at London Health Sciences Centre - Kids Kicking Cancer. Children’s will be the very first hospital in Canada to bring this program to their young patients with cancer.

The program will provide weekly classes for children, both inpatient and outpatient, in the mind-body techniques found in the martial arts. The goal of Kids Kicking Cancer is “to ease the pain of very sick children while empowering them to heal physically, spiritually and emotionally.”

It will emphasize relaxation and mental imagery, and skill each student according to his or her capabilities to engage in breathing, meditation, and active karate exercises. Parents, siblings and health care providers will also be able to receive instruction in these methods.

Your support of Prusty 4 Kids will help give children with cancer the tools to build confidence and strength as they battle cancer with the help of their team at Children's.
